I drew the initial plans on some cardboard

Cut out the two pieces

Held the shape together with zip ties

Two pieces together

Cut out the plastic, marking the bend points

Using a heat gun, slowly bend and shape the plastic

Two pieces shaped. I melted the ziptie holes with a soldering iron

Hot glued scrap flannel to the bottom and over the rough edges

Completed fabric covering

Made sure to cut holes in the fabric with an X-Acto blade

After hot gluing a 3mm foam to the inside of the seat, zip tie to the bike

Finished and attached bike seat
Unfortunately after all the work and engineering, Baxter refuses to sit in it. It makes me sad because I made it for him so he could come and enjoy biking adventures with us, but alas, I must seek out another option. It's still cool and would be great for a dog less fearful of everything.
